Instructions for Cable use

Version 1.10 cable is recommended for use with products of Version 1.10 or higher (Version 1.10, Version 2.0).

If the entire system consists of the products of Version 1.10 or higher and uses Version 1.10 cable, then the required length of each inter-station cable is 20 cm or more.  Different brand cables can be used within a single system.
(See CC-Link specification for inter-station cable length and maximum overall cable extension length.)

If a system uses either Version 1.0 devices and/or Version 1.0 cable, then follow the CC-Link Version 1.0 specification for inter-station cable length and maximum overall cable extension length.  Different brand cables within a single system is not recommended.

For a complete installation guide, including the different cable requirements, see the CC-Link download page and read the CC-Link Installation Guide.
